"What is that? " I stopped eating and looked at one window front of me. "Flying termites, remember? We saw Malawian selling these bugs on the road." said Jim. I remember he mentioned that Malawian catch flying termites to eat. They eat them fresh or cooked.
Termites came to our balcony and covered the balcony floor. Some of them flying around the window. Oh, my god. They are TOO MANY! Oh, No! Some of them got into our room. Where did they come from? I panicked. I checked if all our windows were closed. We found a small space between the balcony door and floor.
We removed our dishes from the table and sprayed to them. Jim says, "Tomo, don't eat them even you are hungry, OK! because I sprayed!" "Of course not!" I lost my appetite, and peer cautiously into the window. OH, MY GOD! I could not see the balcony floor because they keep coming more and more and covered the floor. Some of them sitting on the window flame area piled up each other. Hundreds of flying termites in my eye sight.
" Tomo, here is my salad!" He showed me his plate and there was one termite in his plate. I thought he was just kidding but that moment, he ate that bug with some vegies. I can't believe it he did it! Don't kiss me, Darling!
I just hope they will be leaving by tomorrow morning. I don't want to see the hundreds of dead termites on our balcony.
By the way, "Geckos, party is in the back. Bring all your friends and family. All you can eat tonight!"
