Here were the top 3 things surprised me in Chad.

1. A man and a man holding hands and walking on the street even over 100F degree hot day.
   
2. Lizards are everywhere.   They look like small dinosaurs.
3. A famous Japanese song for schoolchildren is a popular  Chadians' cellphone melody. 

Here are the top 3 things surprised me in Malawi.

1. Black and white ..................................Penguin? Panda? Zebra?  NOPE!     B/W Crows!   
   
2. We need ironing for all our laundry which we dried outside.  I even ironed underwear.
   
3. Same melody I've hard in Chad is also popular Malawians' cellphone melody!  It's a song of RED DRAGON FlY.
